PRIVATE AIKIDO INSTRUCTION
Aikido instruction is provided by Ito Sensei, Watanabe Shihan, or another ACLA instructor.
Our instructors are well trained and ready to create you a personalized Aikido program. This program is based upon your goals and where you are right now. Private lessons are the quickest way to build your skills in Aikido or improve your skill already existing skills.
PRIVATE IAIDO INSTRUCTION
Iaido instruction is provided by Watanabe Shihan. Watanabe Shihan was Furuya Sensei’s assistant for 17 years and was classically trained as a professional teacher. He is currently ranked 5th Dan in Iaido and is a 6th Dan Shihan in Aikido. Watanabe Shihan specializes in Muso Shinden-ryu Iaido, Toyama-ryu, and Aikiken, and is well versed in the Bokken or “wooden sword” and the Jo or “wooden short staff.”
Swordsmanship is about precision and the only way to get precision is by training with an expert.
