DOJO UPDATE

June 18th, 2020

The dojo has been cleared to re-open and we had originally planned on being open on June 27th . However, due to the high number of coronavirus cases and the upcoming holiday weekend, I have decided to push the opening back to Saturday, July 11th. I have also decided that all adult and children classes will be held outside in the parking lot as long as weather permits. We will also, be opening with a limited schedule for the short term on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Please consult the schedule for updates. http://www.aikidocenterla.com/schedule For now, there will be no contact in any of the classes. The classes will feature solo movement type Aikido classes and sword (bokken) and staff (jo) type weapons classes. The weather should be nice and so being outdoors and easing into regular training should help to keep everyone safe and healthy. We hope to get back to normal training once things begin to change and when the cases begin to decrease.
