Japanese Classes

As many of you might not know, the last class of the first Japanese class session is coming up. This was the first time we have ever offered Japanese language lessons in the Dojo. What we learned was that there are two types of methods for teaching Japanese, which we are going to incorporate into the next class offerings.

1) Japanese Class. A more formal class learning grammar, sentence structure, vocabulary, reading and writing taught by a teacher with a textbook. This type of class is similar to a college course in Japanese. There is homework, presentations and workbook exercises.

2) Japanese Conversation Class. A less formal basic conversation class where you learn conversation from the teacher who is a native speaker. This type of class you just learn how to communicate using everyday common phrases. For example you would learn how ask where the bathroom is or how much an item costs. No homework or presentations.

The Session is 10 weeks long and begins Sept. 29th.  Classes are on SATURDAYS.
The Japanese Conversation Class is at 12:30-1:45 PM and the Japanese Class is at 2:00-4:00 PM .
The cost is $100.00 per 10 week session. The cost is the same whether you attend one or both classes.
Friends, Family members and Guests are welcome. PLEASE CONTACT ME (DAVID ITO) IF YOU ARE INTERESTED dnito@aol.com or call 626-216-9567.
