Dear Rev. Kensho Furuya:

The Black Belt editorial department is working diligently on updating and revamping the Author and Book descriptions listed on Amazon.com under your book titles appearing on the site. We believe this information will draw more attention to your work and will help boost sales.

Black Belt also wants to help market your book through another Amazon tool, the Spotlight Review. The site gives its consumers the opportunity to provide feedback. You can rate the text as well as critique it. Who better to review your book than your students? Your students would rate the work, five stars being the highest, and compose a paragraph or two about the text and its author.

To help Black Belt promote your work, we are asking that you bring this endeavor to your students' attention. This is a great way for students to give a little back to their teacher by writing a positive review and by giving your work high marks.  

In order for your students to complete a Spotlight Review, they must have an Amazon account. If they have an account (or after they have established one), then they pull up the book on http://www.amazon.com, scroll to the Spotlight Review and follow the directions.

The book industry is very competitive, so the Black Belt staff wants to take advantage of any means possible to help draw attention to your work and encourage sales. Please feel free to pass the Amazon review information on to your colleagues and friends, too. Thank you for your kind attention.
