The Dojo is open for practice Wednesday December 26 through Sunday, December 30.  There is a special year-end practice on Sunday, December 30.

The new dojo is progressing swiftly. Here are some pictures taken a few days ago. As you can see drywall and paint have been applied.

The 10th International Aikido Federation General Assembly and Seminar will take place in Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan from October 5-13, 2008. We estimate the trip cost will total US$4,000.00-US$6,000.00 per person, including airfare, hotel, meals, transportation, seminar fees, and small incidentals. To help ACLA prepare its registration forms, as well as plan for lodgings, outings, and so forth, please contact Mark Ehrlich (markehrlich@hotmail.com) and advise if you plan to attend or not. (Note that, whatever your answer, you'll have ample time to change your mind; we'd simply like to get an idea of who intends to make the trip as of now.) Please let Mark know by January 5, 2008 so that he can provide a timely update to the dojo leadership.
