If a teacher allows himself to get too close to the student or allow the student to get too close to him, a familiarity is created which often blocks the teaching-learning process. If a teacher keeps too far away from the student, no connection can be made. If a teacher had to manage each student in this way, there is no time to teach anything. It is up to the student to create a balanced relationship with the teacher according to the rules of conduct, reigi-saho.

A teacher needs to be free of all of the "people problems" in order to focus on teaching. At least for me, I find that focusing on teaching my students takes all my energy and spirit and more.
