PROTEST DOWNTOWN

On April 30, Monday, another Immigration Protest will be staged in downtown Los Angeles, making traffic very congested. We will have class but I fear that the traffic may be too bad so, please take a day off, if you feel like it!

Some of you may already have this information, but just in case, here is the latest we know regarding the impact of Monday's demonstrations on the Civic Center.

10:00 am Part or All of Spring Street Will be Closed

11:00 AM -- 12 Noon Start of March at Olympic & Broadway

12 Noon - 1 PM Rally at City Hall

3:00 PM -- 5 PM Disbanding

I fear that "disbanding" will take several hours as it did on the preivous Protest. Between 5:00-8:00pm, downtown may be considerably congested.
