04-01-06: "Hello, I'm Ryoji. Good afternoon, thank you for last week. I returned back to Japan safely. I am telling everyone in my dojo about the very practical, realistic Aikido I learned from Furuya Sensei's dojo. I will return again to Los Angeles in the near future. Let's meet again. Sensei's Note: Bill D'Angelo and myself took Ryoji for dinner on his last day of practice on Wednesday, March 29. Ryoji said that he enjoyed the practice very much and found it more strenuous than at his own dojo in Japan where the class is more informal and there is more conversation. He said that he would like our Aikido in Japan. He liked the very practical, realistic nature of our Aikido. He said that appreciated this because he was formerly a boxer before he entered Aikido. He wants to relocate to Los Angeles where he can continue to train in our Dojo. He said that obtaining a green card is the big problem because it is very strict in this country at present. He is always welcome here, of course, and we look forward to his next visit. Many thanks, everyone enjoyed his practice.
